Meaning: We contemplate Goddess Pratyangira. We meditate on her – the one called by the name Shatrusudini (destroyer of enemies). May that Devi illuminate our intellect.

Auspicious timings to chant this Mantra and Japa Sankhya

Brahma Muhurta and Sandhya Kala, except Sayam Sandhya, and nighttime are considered the most potent times for Pratyangira Devi worship and Mantra-japa. As for the days, Amavasya and Ashtami are considered highly auspicious.

The Japa sankhya for siddhi of the Pratyangira Gayatri Mantra is one lakh and twenty-five thousand repetitions. One can also chant this mantra 108 or 1008 times daily till the wishes are fulfilled or as per the Guru’s advice.
