For the devotees seeking protection, healing, and spiritual upliftment, the Sudarshana Mantra serves as a guiding light.
The mantras below are dedicated to Lord Sudarshana, the divine discus (Chakra) of Lord Vishnu.
By chanting these Mantras, devotees invoke the Lord for protection, victory over enemies, mental peace, body healing, as well as for spiritual upliftment.
There are several dedicated mantras, including the Maha Sudarshana Mantra, Moola Mantra, Beej Mantra, Sudarshana Gayatri, and Narasimha Mantra.
Everyone has their own usage, some to practice Japa or Sadhana, while others do routine worship

Chanting Guide with Details of Timings and Japa Sankhya
You can follow the steps below, along with your Guru’s guidance, for the Sadhana (practice).
It is always advisable to continue practising Japa or sadhana in the same area as the Puja room, or in any clean, quiet place.
Sit comfortably, if possible, in a comfortable position, such as sukhasana or padmasana.
Before starting Japa, do the Sankalpa and maintain the same level of devotion throughout the Japa.
Timings: Early Mornings are ideal for chanting the Sudarshana mantra. However, if you seek to chant daily for worship or for doing Japa, any time is fine, but it’s good to maintain the same timing.
Ancient Sadhakas regard special days related to Lord Vishnu or Sudarshana as highly auspicious for starting Mantra Sadhana.
Japa Count: The best japa count for the Sudarshana Mantra is 108 times for all the mantras. If you wish to go with lower counts 11, 16, 21 and 51 are the ones you can choose.
For Mantra Sadhana, the total count required to achieve the power of Mantra is entirely different.
For Sudarshana Narasimha Mantra, Jwala Mantra, and most Sudarshana Mantras, it is 1 lakh 25 thousand times. This is also usually time-bound for 40 days or one mandalam.
